TTS scholarship

Every year Thanks To Scandinavia, a foundation created by Victor Borge and Richard Netter, awards scholarships to young Danes wishing to study in the US or young Americans wishing to study in Scandinavia. In 2001 Thanks to Scandinavia created the Rebild Scholarship Fund Honoring Sanna and Victor Borge through which scholarships are awarded.

To be considered for a scholarship, the Rebild society´s secretariat must receive an application containing information about the applicant´s choice of education, entrance status, place of study, budget etc. To be considered, one must be member of the Rebild society. For more information about membership see Join Rebild. The deadline for applications is May 1.

The scholarships are awarded on July 4 on the stage at the Rebild Celebrations in the Rebild Hills. Three students are usually awarded scholarships each year. For further information concerning scholarships, please contact the Rebild society´s secretariat.

Application deadline:

Deadline for the application is May 1st. As this scholarship is awarded on stage during the July 4th Rebild Celebrations program, it is necessary for recipients to be present in Rebild on July 4 to be considered for this scholarship.

Application:

If you are interested in applying for financial assistance from one of the Rebild scholarships, please send us a letter including the following information:

· Personal information (your name, address and other contact information).

· A short biography (description of yourself).

· A description of your chosen educational path.

· Documents of matriculation to the institution of higher education at which you have been accepted to study.

· And a budget.

 

Applications to Thanks to Scandinavia Rebild Scholarship Fund Honoring Sanna and Victor Borge must be written in English.
