Annual Meeting in Seattle - April 3-7, 2019

Welcome to the Northwest Region of the United States. Rebild’s Annual Meeting 2019 will be in Seattle, Washington. Seattle is an exciting urban city surrounded by unmatched natural beauty. Adventures await you. You will find Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room, the Space Needle from the 1962 World’s Fair which is recognized far and wide, Seattle Center Monorail links Seattle Center to downtown’s Westlake Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass museum dedicated the works of locally born world-renowned glassblower Dale Chihuly, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Pike Place Market with the original Starbucks café and over 225 artisans selling their wares and the famous Fish-Tossing tradition.

We have reserved group space at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square with 3 pre nights and 3 post nights at the same rate of $220 per night + taxes/fees. It is an all suites hotel, which can accommodate up to 4 guests per suite ($20 per person per night 3rd & 4th guests). The hotel offers a full breakfast for all guests and a complimentary Happy Hour each day from 5:30 pm – 7:30pm. Please support Rebild and enjoy the benefits when booking as a group. Program

Day 1 Wed. April 3rd
Arrive in Seattle.
Check in and Welcome Reception.

Day 2 Thurs. April 4th
8:30 am to 11:30 am: Separate Chapter Presidents and National Board Meetings.
12:30 pm to 5:00 pm: Tour to Nordic Museum and Chihuly Garden and Glass.
Lunch and dinner on your own.

Day 3 Fri. April 5th
8:30 am to 11:30 am: Combined Chapter Presidents and National Board Meetings.
12:30 pm to 5:30 pm: Tour of Boeing Aviation.
Lunch and dinner on your own.

Day 4 Sat. April 6th
8:30 am to 11:30 am: National Board Only Meeting.
8:30 am – 1:30 pm: For those not in meetings, the Rebild Seattle Chapter will sponsor a Free tour to Molbak Nursery, sample Kringle, then journey to a nearby Winery to enjoy a Tour & Complimentary Lunch.
Includes free Bus transportation from the hotel.
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm - General Membership Meeting.
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – National Board Re-organization Meeting.
6:30 pm – Midnight – Cocktail Hour/Gala Dinner.

Day 5 Sun. April 7th
Departures for Post Tours and/or return flight home.

New York Rebild Chapter President Kim Qvistorff has arranged a pretour to Portland before the Annual Meeting in Seattle. The tour is from April 1 - April 3, 2019.
